New Rant!  

So I was listening to Nino's podcast on You tube. Some people on there didn't like the way he conducts his show.  Well I thought people understood that if it is his channel, it's up to him.  I am also wondering what these people do if they go to a party and aren't having fun?  Do they bash the host or leave the party?  💫  I would think an intelligent person would just exit the party.  Hhmmm.     I would not hang around if the channel wasn't for me.  People could try to understand that there are different strokes for different folks.  Different podcasters resonate with different people. There is nothing wrong with that! So to those negative people, I would say that maybe they should go where it feels better for their poor souls!  Yikes!  The things that make one shake one's head everyday.   

Adventures in my Amazon Account

 I have noticed for a bit now that there are things I didn't understand that were happening within my Amazon account.  I would get an email saying that my item had been refunded.  I didn't request it, it just showed up.  Then I would get another.  Then another.   I didn't complain or ask for a refund on said items.  I really didn't understand what was happening.  So, additionally, when I would order something I saw where my order got credited some gift card money.  Then, I get this email saying I had requested refunds on too many items and I got the impression they would like to close my account! Of course I am furious since I didn't have anything to do with what was happening.  So last week I got this email saying my item had been delivered like normal.  Only thing is....I didn't have anything on order.  So I checked out the info about that order.  It had been delivered to Arizona.  I live in Ohio.  😡  So, I went to my account and did some digging.  I was looking at all my account information and I saw where there was an Arizona address attached to my name.  So I also dug around a little more.  I saw where Amazon will give a gift card balance on some items that are refunded that they don't want them back.  For example eye liner. (Which I did not ask to return).  Now I understood what was happening.  Fraudster Alert!  Some scumbag in Arizona was doing this to me.  I tried to talk to the Amazon assistant and got nowhere other than I should alert Amazon and change my password immediately, which I did.  I want them to know what happened so it won't happen to others and besides, it is costing them money too.  Since it was rather difficult to get a real person to talk to on Amazon, I gave up.  But hopefully with the changes I made it will not continue to happen.. Now I am paranoid now and I am checking things daily.  I figure the person was trying to get to those gift card points before me to get their stuff free!  

RANT OVER FOR NOW!  Hope this can help someone else who is experiencing this!

The Storm

Well hello!  Glad to be here!  It's been a rainy, windy, muddy week at our county fair. On Tuesday, we happened to be at a 4-H hog show.  We were sitting on the bleachers under an open structure with only a roof for shelter.  The show was getting close to the end, so we were all trying to hang in there with the rain forecast looming over our heads.  All of a sudden, it hit!  All those who were trying to watch the show ended up in the middle of the hog arena trying to stay dry and safe.  What a scary experience!  That wind and rain came with such force!   I had my arm around this little boy who was scared and couldn't find his mom.  Of course, the electric went out.  It was soooo dark out too even though it was daytime.  In the end we obviously survived, but I don't want to do that one ever again!  We were all soaked but O.K.  Whew!!  There was so much damage to temporary structures on the grounds.  All kinds of tents, ect., were a total loss for the different exhibitors and vendors.  We have a camper out there for the 1st time.  There was no good way to get from the midway to the camper to stay out of mud. :(  We will never forget this fair!!!  The other fair experiences were O.K.  The fair was closed to the public for the rest of that stormy day.  This was in the town of Urbana, Ohio and there was much damage within town.  Down trees everywhere.  There were a couple I guess at the fairgrounds as well.  

I will say that there are all kinds of theories about why we are having the kind of weather we have recently experienced. I will just leave that thought right here....

What I think

 My whole idea here was to write whatever is on my mind on any given day.  Apparently, Google doesn't like some of my thoughts.  They say I cannot do Ads on here because they don't like my content.  Well....I really don't care about whether they like it or not.  That was not my intention here anyway.  It was just something I thought I might do.  No big deal.  They can keep their Ad stipulations.  I don't need them.  I thought this was a place I could simply express myself a little.  But hey, if Google doesn't appreciate their clients maybe someplace else will.  Rant over!  My "Life Thoughts" on that will percolate a little until I make a decision.

Now...back to today's thoughts.  LOL   Of course, there is almost always my laundry to do.  Does that ever end?  Nope.  It is what it is.  Our family as a whole has been very busy. Each individual seems to go through different things in life.  We are all where we are I guess.  I have to remind myself that I can't solve everyone's problems.  I can only be here for them in ways that I can.  We all know that essentially, we are all responsible for our thoughts whether they be positive or negative. Those decisions can make or break our days.  If you always think the worst is going to happen to you, my thought is that it probably will.  One has a much better chance of things improving in life if you take the good out of a day and leave the bad in the dust.  Just my opinion and results of my own experiences.  

I do hope that for anyone out there that is having a bad day, bad life, can turn theirs around to an extent due to how the attitude goes.

Happy New Year

 Happy New Year!  

I now have mixed feelings about New Years.  It was also my brother Terry's birthday. 

RIP Terry!  Hope your heavenly birthday was wonderful!  

                                                                             

Terry played drums and was very good at it until Parkinson's Disease decided to enter the picture.  😠Such a dreadful disease!  (Took our mother as well.)

But...other than that, it was a good New Years Eve.  Hope 2026 is better for everyone!
